Children’s Treatment Network (CTN) supports over 42,000 kids and youth with disabilities and developmental needs in their homes, communities and schools. We provide intake, service navigation and coordinated service planning, assessment and diagnostic services, specialized clinics and rehabilitation services, including physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech language therapy.

CTN provides services for kids and youth from birth to a youth’s exit from school who live in York Region and Simcoe County. Eligibility for certain services often requires assessment. We encourage you to contact a CTN service navigator at CTN Access 1-866-377-0286.

No. CTN and the services provided by our network partners are funded by Ontario’s Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCCSS) and are free for families. However, there may be costs associated with provision of special equipment, materials or supplies needed by some kids or youth.

Families are welcome to contact us directly at 1-866-377-0286. You can also ask your child’s physician or any current service provider to make a referral.

CTN encourages kids, youth and caregivers to provide feedback about their experiences. 

If you are looking for a quicker response, we encourage you to share your compliments, concerns, questions or suggestions directly with your service provider, or member of your child and family team.

If you do not feel comfortable sharing your feedback in this way, or if you have done so and still feel that it hasn’t been addressed, visit the Client and Family Feedback and Complaints Form.

If your child is not eligible for services CTN’s service navigators can share information about community supports that may be helpful for your family. Please call us at 1-866-377-0286.

When you call us at 1-866-377-0286 one of two things will happen:

1. A service navigator will answer the phone and talk to you about your family’s needs. They will ask for consent to open a shared record for your child.
2. You will get connected to a voicemail box that asks you to leave a message. Please listen to the instructions and leave a message for a service navigator. Someone will call you back to have a conversation about your family’s needs and ask consent to open a shared record for your child.

The shared electronic record is a secure, web-based application CTN and your child’s service providers can use to record information about your child’s strengths, needs, diagnosis information, etc. It allows all providers on your child’s team to ensure information about your child is up to date and provides you with a higher level of integrated care. Generally, we serve kids from birth to school exit. There may be some exceptions for specific programs and services and based on your child's needs. Please contact us at 1-866-377-0286 if you have any questions.

Referral requirements differ for our various programs and services. Families can self-refer for certain programs and services, while others require referrals from a physician or other member of your child's team. Full information can be found on our referral information and forms page.
