Diagnostic Autism Clinical Services (DACS)

Diagnostic Autism Clinical Services (DACS) (formerly Developmental Assessment Consultation Services) is a service that sees kids and youth for assessment regarding Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Consultation in this clinic is provided by pediatricians and health professionals as needed. More information about the DMCS clinic can be found in this video.

What We Do

CTN is the lead for the ASD Diagnostic Hub in Central Region. CTN, ErinoakKids and KidsAbility provide diagnostic services for kids and youth.

Kids and youth with concerns regarding Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) are eligible for this clinic.

CTN and Kerry’s Place offer monthly webinars for families living in Simcoe County and York Region who have a child or youth who has been recently diagnosed on the autism spectrum. ‘One Step at a Time’ helps new parents navigate resources, identify their emotions, provide tips on sharing the diagnosis and provides a sense of connection to the system and to other parents.
