Effective Monday, Nov. 4, 2024, the name of our One Step at a Time Webinars changed to ‘After an Autism Diagnosis’. This name change was made to be more inclusive and to better reflect the population of kids and youth that CTN serves. By retiring the language of ‘One Step at a Time’, CTN acknowledges and affirms the kids and youth who may use mobility devices or other methods to get around. Below you will see the link to the updated flyer for the webinars that will be hosted from October 2024 to February 2025. All public facing materials and references were changed on Monday, Nov. 4, 2024. Click to see the upcoming workshops here This webinar is for families and caregivers living in Simcoe County and York Region who have a child or youth who have been recently diagnosed on the autism spectrum. Along with providing participants with information and helping them to navigate resources, the webinar also offers support strategies and allows attendees to connect with other families with similar experiences. Please note that the alternative languages for this flyer including, Tamil, French, Arabic, Chinese and Farsi will be available by the end of November. In the meantime, if you know someone who requires interpretation support, please contact Sarah Mackenzie at smackenzie@ctnsy.ca.
