Are you new to Children’s Treatment Network (CTN)?

Welcome to CTN! If you have a child or youth with disabilities or developmental needs, you’ve come to the right place. We are here to help connect you to the services, programs and resources you need at any stage of your journey.

CTN helps to build brighter futures for over 26,000 kids and youth with disabilities and other developmental needs. Funded by the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCCSS), CTN works with partner organizations in the health, education and community sectors to provide approximately 110,000+ service visits per year. CTN provides intake, service navigation and coordinated service planning, specialized clinics and rehabilitation services.

We serve York Region and Simcoe County, but some of our services extend to Central and West Toronto, Dufferin, Halton, Peel, Waterloo and Wellington.

Families are at the heart of our decisions and are entrenched in our work through consultation, involvement, partnerships and shared leadership. They are involved in our governance, as employees, serve in family advisory and volunteer positions, and are members of the clinical team.

Rehabilitation and Specialized Clinical Services
We provide kids and youth with disabilities and other developmental needs access to rehabilitation services and specialty clinics, including occupational therapy, physiotherapy, audiology, alternative and augmentative communications, feeding assessment and consultation, psychological services, seating and mobility and spasticity management.

School Based Rehabilitation Services
We ensure that kids and youth with rehabilitation needs are able to attend school, participate in activities and receive instruction by providing occupational therapy, physiotherapy and speech language therapy.

Service Coordination, Brief Resource Support and Coordinated Service Planning
We connect kids, youth and families with community supports and coordinate integrated service plans. This may include service navigation, brief resource support, coordinated service planning and key services and supports for fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD).

Diagnostic and Medical Consultation Services
We help kids and youth get the diagnostic services they need through our Diagnostic Autism Clinical Services (DACS) and as the Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Diagnostic Hub - Central Region.

Have you been referred to CTN?

Kids and youth are connected to CTN in different ways – through a referral from a family physician or pediatrician, early intervention services, the school or simply by calling us at 1-866-377-0286 to refer yourself. If you call us, our service navigators will work with you to determine your needs and refer you to the right programs and services. Service navigators work closely with every family through this process as some services require an assessment to determine a child’s eligibility. If a child is ineligible for CTN services, they are connected with appropriate community resources. Please call our ACCESS team at 1-866-377-0286 if you have any questions about CTN or any other agencies in your community.
