We know that for many families of kids and youth with disabilities and developmental needs, the transition into school or back to school can sometimes feel overwhelming. That’s why CTN’s next Family Engagement Forum (FEF) will feature a virtual, parent-led panel discussion on how families can support their kids and youth during the transition from summer to school. Taking place virtually over Zoom on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., the panel will include a discussion with CTN parents who have recently navigated this transition. During the session, they’ll share personal experiences, practical tips and helpful strategies—with time built in for attendees to ask their own questions. If you are interested in participating, register here. Please also don’t hesitate to contact the CTN Family Engagement Team if you have any questions or require additional accommodations, by emailing ctnfamilyengagement@ctnsy.ca. We hope you will attend, as it is sure to be a helpful session filled with insights, resources and opportunities to build connections!
