With March Break quickly approaching, the Community and Family Participation Program has put together some inclusive and memorable family events that are sure to keep your kids busy.
Get creative with us at Heartworks Children’s Studio where families will discover, explore and create together at our many open-ended and child-led art and sensory play stations. This class is designed to encourage creativity, self-expression and imagination and supports children’s cognitive, physical, and emotional development. “Dress for mess” and bring indoor shoes if possible.
Join us for some March Break fun at the Township of King's NEW Zancor Centre! Seneca College students will be leading a variety of fun indoor and outdoor activities to provide options for everyone! Families can also participate in a sensory skate or try Para Ice Hockey. All abilities are welcome, no previous experience is necessary.
Celebrate spring and explore a variety of activity stations related to STEM (science, technology, engineering and math), arts and crafts, fine, gross and sensory skill development and fun with food. All activities are planned by Georgian College’s Occupational and Physiotherapy Assistant Program.
Register to attend a special Wet 'N Scaley demonstration for CTN families at Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre. This exciting program provides participants with the opportunity to get up close and personal with some of Ontario's native reptile species. Participants will learn plenty of fun facts and identification tips, as well as get up close and personal with some of the animals. Access to the Wye Marsh is also included in the registration.
