The Community Learning Library: Online Learning for Parents and Providers

The Community Learning Library (CLL) is convenient, user friendly, includes relevant content in a variety of online courses and currently supports more than 2000 users.

What is the Community Learning Library?
The Community Learning Library, or CLL, is a free, virtual learning platform that offers online learning opportunities to families and professionals who work with children and youth, in Simcoe County and York Region.

Where did the CLL come from?
The CLL is funded by the Children’s Treatment Network, the County of Simcoe and Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre. The funding agencies and steering committee are dedicated to creating a comprehensive library of virtual educational materials for the system that supports families with children from birth through the transition into school.

How much does it cost to sign up?
The CLL is a FREE platform that offers a variety of modules to enhance knowledge and practice of early years professionals and families in Simcoe County and York Region.

When is the CLL available?
The CLL is always open! You can access learning anytime and anywhere that is convenient for you, as long as you have access to the internet. You can complete modules at your own pace, pause them when necessary and even go back and review them again if you choose. When you complete a course, you also receive a certificate that you can retain for your records.
