CTN Operations During COVID-19 Pandemic

news image

On Monday, March 16th, CTN announced a temporary closure until April 6th in response to the COVID-19 pandemic to prioritize the health and safety of the children, youth and families we serve, our employees, partners and other stakeholders.

Here’s what we can tell you so far:

  • We are working with our employees to ensure they are equipped to work from home. We are connecting with our network partners to determine how we can deliver some services in a way that does not promote the spread of COVID-19 and still supports families.
  • CTN’s ACCESS and School Based Rehabilitation Services phone lines will be open on April 6th. Service navigators will be available and working from home to support families as best they can.
  • Our website, Facebook and Twitter will continue to provide corporate updates, activities, ideas and opportunities for families to connect online.
  • CTN’s sites and equipment loan program will remain closed until further notice.
  • We are monitoring daily updates from all levels of government and public health as these announcements provide a foundation for our decision making.
What’s next?
  • CTN works with partners in the health, education and community sectors and we know and support our partners who need to mobilize to support their organizational and system response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • We’re collaborating with our partners to determine how we can adapt some of our clinical programs and services to align with current public health requirements while continuing to support children, youth and families in this rapidly-changing environment.
  • We are planning virtual events, like coffee chats, so families can stay connected.

Communicating regularly with our employees, network partners and the children, youth and families we serve is a top priority in this quickly-evolving situation and we will continue to do so.

If you have questions please connect with our ACCESS line at 1-866-377-0286. For questions about school based rehabilitation services, please call 1-877-972-7277.

CTN’s vision is to build brighter futures together and despite the current need to be apart, our families, employees and partners continue to work together through this difficult time. From sharing creative ideas on how to connect virtually, or putting up their hands to volunteer for a task, people have found a way to come together. Thank you for your continued support.
