Who should attend? Youth
This hands-on 8-week youth program is designed to enhance self-awareness and promote mindful media use among Autistic teens. Participants will develop essential media literacy skills, including social media awareness and critical thinking. Together, we’ll explore the reasons behind our social media use, the effects on mood, the role of algorithyms, and how to set healthy boundaries with both the media we consume and create. We’ll also cover coping strategies to manage the impact of media on mental wellbeing. In the final three sessions, teens will have the opportunity to create and share their own media pieces, telling their unique stories in a supportive group environment. Join us to empower your teen to navigate the digital world with confidence! Event details: Date: April 8th 2025 Time: 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. For more information and to register, click here.
