Who should attend? Parents and Caregivers
Parents, caregivers and other family members play an integral role in caring for children and youth experiencing mental health challenges. In this free virtual session attendees will receive resources and have their questions answered live from our presenting clinician. What you can expect in this session: - Research-based information regarding mental health challenges that newcomers to Canada commonly face. - Information about parenting a child with a disability (i.e. autism) in combination with newcomer experiences. - Discussion on the challenges of assimilating to a new environment (i.e. Culture Shock).
