Get Ready, Get Set, Zoom!

This Foundational Family Service (FFS) is a live webinar intended for family members of a child/youth under the age of 18, registered with the Ontario Autism Program (OAP). This webinar is intended for parents/caregivers who want to learn more about the Zoom platform, and how to prepare their child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) for telepractice sessions.

This workshop will review a variety of features on Zoom, Kerry’s Place Autism Services' telepractice consent, and how to prepare before, during and following a Zoom session. This training is intended to provide you with knowledge and strategies on using Zoom.

This webinar is limited to immediate family or caregivers of children/youth in the registered in OAP.

This webinar will be delivered live via Zoom for Professionals and the following is required to participate:

• Mobile Device, Tablet or Computer
• An internet connection
• Speakers and a microphone
• A webcam

Please Note: Registration does not guarantee a space in this webinar. To be eligible, confirmation of OAP registration, completion of a Kerry's Place Autism Services' intake meeting and consent forms will be required.

Foundational Family Services are available to persons under the age of 18, and their families, registered with the Ontario Autism Program. These services assist families in supporting their child’s learning and development. Cancellation Process:

Cancelled by Kerry’s Place: Kerry’s Place may cancel a program due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. If this occurs, and the activity cannot be rescheduled, participants will be notified as quickly as possible and attempts, within reason, will be made to help the attendee enroll in a new session.

Cancelled by Supported Person/Family: For the purposes of effective planning, when possible, Kerry’s Place appreciates 5 business days’ notice of cancellation before the start of the workshop/training.
