Who should attend? Parents and Caregivers
Cost: $10/person (a light lunch will be provided) ***Individualized 45 minute consultations with Patricia O’Connor will be available on Saturday, December 2nd 2017 from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm . Only participants attending the workshop are eligible for this consultation, on a pre-booked basis. Spaces are limited and attendance at the workshop does not guarantee a space in the one-on-one session. A fee of $100 plus HST will apply and payable to Integrated Autism Consulting. Please indicate where provided your interest in a personal session and I will pass on to Ms. O'Connor. She will in turn contact you to schedule your time. NOTE: This event is for parents and gaurdians please. This interactive workshop is designed for parents to explore specific strategies and resources to support a successful transition experience to the world of enhanced education, employment and independence. Presenter: Patricia O’Connor is the author of the Transition to Life program and the founder of Integrated Autism Consulting. The vast majority of her work revolves around supporting young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders - Asperger’s Syndrome in work, school and transitional situations.
King-Adapted Gymnastics (Pulsars Gymnastics Partnership)
It allows the athletes to move throughout the gym at their own pace. They will be partnered with a 2:1 coach who will work on adaptive skills, but also gym and sensory exploration.
Boomerang Health- Conversation Club- Vaughan
Conversation Club is aimed at enhancing participants’ conversation skills, such as initiating and maintaining conversations, participating in group discussions, and connecting with peers.
