Who should attend? Parents and Caregivers
Participants will leave with increased knowledge of the barriers their child or youth may face when exploring intersecting identities and supportive strategies that help to empower and validate their autistic 2SLGBTQ+ youth. As a result of participating in this workshop, participants will be able to: - Describe how a diagnosis of Autism may influence or impact one’s journey with gender and sexual identity - Identify support strategies for autistic 2SLGBTQ+ youth Autism, Gender, and Sexuality: Understanding the Connection will be delivered virtually via Zoom.
