Volunteers are an important part of CTN and help us continue to provide a variety of engagement opportunities for clients and families. From families looking to support other families to students who want to help with inclusive events to joining a focus group, CTN provides a number of opportunities for volunteers. We’d like to celebrate National Volunteer Week by introducing our new volunteer system and database. CTN has been working hard to roll out a system with all volunteer information in one spot that allows volunteers to track their hours, view and sign up for a variety of volunteer opportunities, and much more! Why Volunteer? Volunteering with CTN provides you with the opportunity to share your expertise, develop or gain professional experience and make a difference in the lives of kids and youth with disabilities and developmental needs. We would love to continue to grow our volunteer program and continue offering meaningful opportunities within our organization. King City - Adapted Gymnastics (Pulsars Gymnastics Partnership) - York
Adapted Gymnastics is a class for just adaptive athletes who have a broad spectrum of disabilities and severities. They will be partnered with a 2:1 coach.
Kerry's Place (FFS) - Autism: Beyond the Diagnosis - Online
This 2½-hour workshop teaches parents and caregivers strategies and tools to help their children and youth understand their diagnosis, using a strengths-based approach.
