The leaves are changing colours, it’s getting cooler and kids are back to learning…it must be fall! Our favourite event this time of year is our annual inclusive Halloween party. To ensure everyone’s health and safety, we will be hosting fun and interactive activities virtually. Instead of one night of family fun, we organized some activities, recipes, crafts and ideas you can do at home so you can stay safe and connect with other CTN families. To make it even more exciting, if you snap a photo of your craft or activity then send it info@ctnsy.ca or tag @CTNKids on Instagram with the hashtag #CTNFun, you get a chance to win 1 of 4 $25 Amazon gift cards! 1. Turkey Leaf Craft Get some fresh air and go for a walk with your family and collect some leaves to create this creative turkey leaf craft. 2. Rice Krispie Treat Monster Check out this fun activity you can do with family and friends in the kitchen or even virtually. Our local team facilitators had fun making these monster treats together. 3. Fall Outdoors Scavenger Hunt Download this fun printable scavenger hunt and get outdoors this month. Challenge your family, make this a new Thanksgiving tradition or host a socially distanced scavenger hunt with friends and neighbours to find as many items as you can. Don't forget our two Virtual Halloween Events! We will be hosting our first Virtual Monster Mash Party on Tuesday, October 27th at 6:00 p.m. Dress up, put on your dancing shoes and join us for a fun filled night with music, dancing and activities. Share your costume during our show and share segment. Participants will automatically be entered to a random draw of 1 of 4 $25 Amazon gift cards. To register, click here. We can’t wait to see you! On October 30th starting at 7 p.m., youth (grade 7 to the end of high school) are invited to join us for a Virtual Youth Halloween dance and a spooky Netflix-watching party. Feel free to dress up in costume, decorate your space and grab some snacks then join us for some Halloween fun! Click here to join the fun.
