Investors Group is an organization that promotes and celebrates volunteerism through their give back program, which includes a grant that donates back to the community. To be eligible, an agent must meet a minimum number of volunteer hours. When selected, these grants are directed at the agent’s organization of choice. This donation was the result of reaching the company’s requirement of volunteer hours through Peter’s work on CTN’s FEC. For over a year, Peter has been donating his time and expertise to this advisory council that supports CTN and its initiatives for families. As a father of two boys with autism, my goal is to give back to the organization that has done so much to help our family and other families of children with disabilities by providing fun and inclusive events, as well as the important coffee chats that allow parents to connect with other parents Peter Leung, CTN parent and Investors Group Agent. Thank you to Peter and Investors Group for including CTN in your giving initiatives. If you work for a company that has programs that support local community organizations we would encourage you to consider approaching your employer and asking them to support CTN. A donation of any amount can have make an impact and help families access services, supports and equipment that are needed. Your donation will help kids and families in Simcoe and York get the support they urgently need. For more information on our Family Fund or to make a donation to CTN, click here.
