As we celebrate National Volunteer Week from April 19 to 25, 2026, Children’s Treatment Network (CTN) wants to thank all our amazing volunteers who make a difference in the lives of kids and youth with disabilities and developmental needs. This year’s theme, Ignite Volunteerism, celebrates the many ways volunteers spark positive change in their communities. At CTN, volunteers help make events and activities inclusive and enjoyable for kids, youth and their families. Many of these opportunities are made possible through collaboration with our community and network partners, who help bring families together in fun and meaningful ways. Over the past year, more than 95 volunteers have played an important role in supporting inclusive family events organized by CTN’s Community and Family Participation Team including:
At each event, volunteers welcomed families, supported activities and helped create spaces where everyone could participate and have fun. Members of our Family Engagement Forum, made up of CTN alumni and parents, also volunteer their time. By sharing their experiences and ideas, they help enhance the programs and supports CTN provides. Volunteers have helped shape CTN’s community over the past 20 years, supporting kids, youth and families and making a lasting difference every step of the way. Thank you to all our volunteers for your time, passion and dedication. Your support helps create a community where all kids, youth and families belong.
