As we celebrate National Volunteer Week from April 27 to May 3, 2025, CTN wants to thank all our amazing volunteers who make a difference in the lives of kids and youth with disabilities and developmental needs. These dedicated individuals help create opportunities for families to connect and feel supported. This year's theme, "Volunteers Make Waves," highlights how volunteer efforts, big and small, create ripples of change across organizations everywhere. Each act of kindness leads to stronger communities, new friendships and a greater sense of belonging. Over the past year, our volunteers have played an important role in supporting inclusive family events organized by CTN’s Community and Family Participation Team. From the Halloween events to holiday gatherings and March Break events, volunteers have been there to help, ensuring families feel welcome and included. Our new Family Engagement Forum, made up of CTN alumni and parents, also makes an impact for families as their ideas and experiences help improve the support CTN provides to families. By working together, we continue to grow and improve the programs that make a difference in the lives of kids, youth and families. Thank you to all our amazing volunteers for your support, dedication and hard work! Together, we are making waves and helping to create a community where all kids, youth and families belong. There are so many ways to get involved at CTN. Learn more about volunteering with CTN. *Please note that CTN cannot support student placements in therapeutic fields at this time.
