Join CTN and Closing the Gap for a summer of camps and expos in Simcoe County, designed to help kids and youth build important skills and develop new strategies for daily living. Self-Regulation and Sensory Strategies Expos Parents and caregivers will have an opportunity to work alongside their child as they practice new methods for their sensory, self-regulation toolbox.
Disney-themed stations will assist kids and youth in developing strategies for a more focused, organized and calmer internal state for daily living, play and in the community.
Fine and Visuomotor Skills Expos Kids, youth, parents and caregivers can expect an afternoon of Disney-themed activity stations, providing a fun way to practice and improve both fine and visuomotor skills.
Motor Skills Camps These camps are for kids and youth working to practice and improve fine motor and gross skills and who can participate independently in a group setting.
Parents are invited to attend a single one-to-one coaching session as part of the camp.
Yummy Tummies Camp This camp will help kids build confidence with use of therapeutic eating skills. Parents are invited to attend a single, one-to-one coaching session as part of the camp.
