A premiere event held on August 12, 2025, marked the launch of All About Respite, a new video resource created by Children’s Treatment Network (CTN) and Empower Simcoe to raise awareness about the importance of respite care for unpaid caregivers. This new video explores the impact of respite care through the voices of real caregivers and offers practical tools and support for those who care for others. Led by Empower Simcoe’s Respite Coordinator, Carolyn Harris, the video features powerful interviews with Julia and Meaghan, two unpaid caregivers who share their personal stories and the life-changing impact respite has had on their lives. In All About Respite, viewers will learn:
Kerry's Place - Making Sense of Financial Options for Parents and Caregivers - Online
