Children’s Treatment Network (CTN), in collaboration with The Common Roof, is excited to share that we received an Ontario Trillium Foundation Captial Grant to update and enhance the community meeting room space at Barrie Common Roof located at 165 Ferris Lane. As CTN continues to grow, there is an increased demand for space to hold meetings, events and programs on-site. This meeting room will enhance our capacity to support families and will allow CTN and other service provider organizations to continue to work collaboratively by using the facility as a community hub for service delivery. The grant will be used to convert an unused waiting room located in the reception area into a new meeting room space. This meeting room will enhance our capacity to support families and will allow CTN, service provider organizations and other partners who use the space to continue to work collaboratively by using the facility as a community hub for service delivery. The work will begin in early October with the goal of opening the new meeting room in early 2025. During this time, there may be loud noise due to the construction which may impact kids and youth with noise sensitivities. Please keep this in mind when you are attending appointments if your child or youth is sensitive to loud noises. The meeting room space will be available to CTN employees, families, volunteers, service providers as well as other individuals and community members who utilize Barrie Common Roof for their meetings. We are excited to start this project and look forward to using the room in the new year to better support the kids, youth and families we serve.
