TD's donation represents a long-standing commitment to supporting children's initiatives and is one of the many ways TD is strengthening and connecting communities.

This generous gift to CTN helps to support the Family Resource Program, including the CTN Family Mentor Program. This important program matches families who are in need of resources or support with a trained volunteer mentor with lived experience raising a child with special needs.  Studies show that peer support can help reduce anxiety and social isolation in parents of children with disabilities. CTN’s Resource Program is also responsible for maintaining the a calendar of  events, Online Resource Centre and hosting parent-led workshops on important topics like respite, special education and funding options.

An absolute pleasure to visit with the passionate and dedicated folks from CTN. They are doing incredible work in supporting families with children who have special needs. TD is proud to support you!
said Chris Leier, TD District Vice President.

This donation will support the goal to empower and strengthen families by providing resources, information and emotional support to help them through their journey.

The connection with my mentor was instant. She knew exactly how I was feeling and made me feel a part of the special needs community. CTN parent, Grace.

Thank you to TD for your generousity and support.  This peer support functions to complement, supplement and extend formal primary rehabilitation services offered by CTN and its network partners. We are honoured to have your support and partnership as we continue to build brighter futures together for kids with multiple special needs.
