The advice collected through the consultations will be invaluable in helping assess how the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services can reduce barriers for children with autism, while also looking specifically at enhancements to the Ontario Autism Program.
Families are encouraged to participate in the consultations during the month of May by participating in an online survey and/or through participating in telephone town hall sessions.
You can share your thoughts and opinions by participating in the online survey. The survey contains 39 questions and takes approximately 20 minutes to complete. You will need to register before taking the survey.
Telephone Town Hall
You can participate in one of the ministry’s telephone town halls by registering on their website. These phone-based public forums will be hosted by a professional, non-partisan moderator and run for one hour. They will be broken up into segments where the key themes of the consultation will be a focus of discussion.
To register for a telephone town hall, please select a scheduled date from the list below or click here. You will then be taken to a registration page on the Eventbrite site. To register you only need to provide your name, telephone number and email address. After you have registered you will receive a confirmation email at the email address you have provided. For help and support call the ministry 1-888-284-8340.
