Dark and crowded streets, inaccessible walkways and sensory overload often make traditional Halloween activities less than welcoming for kids and youth with disabilities and developmental needs. Children’s Treatment Network welcomes kids and youth to a safe, sensory sensitive trick-or-treating event at Hillcrest Mill from 4 to 6 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 28. Christine Ko and Stefanie Cuda, CTN’s community and family co-ordinators, offer five tips for making Halloween more inclusive and accessible for everyone.
