Who should attend? Parents and Caregivers
Kinark’s free information sessions are designed to inform parents and caregivers about services and supports available in the Ontario Autism Program (OAP). Sessions will inform participants about core clinical services as well as provide guidance for any question's pertaining to the OAP application forms. Participants will also learn about eligible/ineligible expenses, foundational family services, and other services and supports in the OAP and the community. Kerry's Place - Family Support Group for Caregivers: Girls on the Spectrum - (Online)
This family support group uses topic-focused conversations, and provides caregivers the opportunity to share successes, discuss challenges, and gain insight from other parents and caregivers of Autistic children and youth.
Kerry's Place - Making Sense of Financial Options for Parents and Caregivers - Online
This workshop provides participants with an understanding of the financial supports available for their child or youth in Ontario.
