Who should attend? Parents and Caregivers
Do you know who to contact if you are in a crisis? Come join our Beyond the OAP: Accessing Regional Resources sessions where you will learn about additional supports in your region and services that are available to you and your family. Choose the location you are interested in, and we will see you then! The Ontario Autism Program (OAP) is not the only place you can receive funding for your child. Do you need additional support for sports programs? Funding for respite care? Discounts at main attractions? Kerry's Place - Family Support Group for Caregivers: Girls on the Spectrum - (Online)
This family support group uses topic-focused conversations, and provides caregivers the opportunity to share successes, discuss challenges, and gain insight from other parents and caregivers of Autistic children and youth.
Kerry's Place - Making Sense of Financial Options for Parents and Caregivers - Online
This workshop provides participants with an understanding of the financial supports available for their child or youth in Ontario.
