In recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on September 30th, join us for a meaningful day outdoors with your family.Explore nature and learn through handson activities, including grinding corn, tracking wildlife, learning traditional firestarting techniques, and playing Indigenous games. The program incorporates the welcoming approach of the Neurodivergence in Nature Family program, creating a relaxed and inclusive environment where participants can engage at their own pace. This thoughtful approach ensures that families of all abilities and learning styles feel supported while exploring, learning, and reflecting together. This unique experience provides a meaningful opportunity for parents, caregivers, and children to deepen their understanding of Indigenous history and culture while strengthening their connection to nature and to one another.
