Who should attend? Children|Youth
Over the course of 6 weeks, participants will learn how the pieces move, basic rules and strategies, and how to get started playing their own games. Our chess coach will help players develop as thinkers by building focus, confidence, and creativity through the game in an environment that's supportive and adaptable to different learning needs. No previous chess experience is required; this program is suitable for beginners! Kerry's Place - Family Support Group for Caregivers: Girls on the Spectrum - (Online)
This family support group uses topic-focused conversations, and provides caregivers the opportunity to share successes, discuss challenges, and gain insight from other parents and caregivers of Autistic children and youth.
