Who should attend? Parents and Caregivers
This workshop introduces participants to how a diagnosis of Autism may influence or impact a child or youth’s journey with gender and sexual identity. Participants will leave with increased knowledge on the barriers children or youth may face when exploring intersecting identities, along with supportive strategies that help to empower and validate Autistic 2SLGBTQ+ youth. Kerry's Place - Family Support Group for Caregivers: Girls on the Spectrum - (Online)
This family support group uses topic-focused conversations, and provides caregivers the opportunity to share successes, discuss challenges, and gain insight from other parents and caregivers of Autistic children and youth.
