Who should attend?
Each session highlights a different area of expertise and may include occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, or representatives from AccessOAP and other community programs. Caregivers will have the opportunity to ask questions, gain a deeper understanding of available supports, and learn everyday strategies to use at home. This month, our guest will be a Caseworker from the Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP). Join us for an interactive Foundational Family Service designed to support caregivers through open discussion and practical learning. This session features a guest speaker who will share professional insights, answer questions in an open forum, and provide general strategies to help families navigate their child’s developmental and learning needs. Kerry's Place - Family Support Group for Caregivers: Girls on the Spectrum - (Online)
This family support group uses topic-focused conversations, and provides caregivers the opportunity to share successes, discuss challenges, and gain insight from other parents and caregivers of Autistic children and youth.
Kerry's Place - Making Sense of Financial Options for Parents and Caregivers - Online
This workshop provides participants with an understanding of the financial supports available for their child or youth in Ontario.
