Who should attend?    Parents and Caregivers|Youth|Service Provider

This workshop is part of the YSSN OAP Foundational Family Services, for families/caregivers with children and youth (up to age 18) with a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder and are registered with The Ontario Autism Program (OAP). However, exceptions to this event are permitted. All are welcome to join. 

Come join members of the Community Engagement and Well-being Team, from York Regional Police as they discuss the following topics: 

  • The Vulnerable Person Registry 
  • Strategies to address exit seeking behaviour
  • Project Lifesaver 
  • The role of mental health teams, and
  • How officers respond to mental health calls
