About event:

Who should attend?    Children|Youth

Sibshops are designed just for siblings (ages 8 to 13) of kids and youth with
disabilities or developmental needs. It’s a chance to have fun, make new friends and
talk about what it’s like to have a sibling with a disability or developmental need.

What to Expect:

  • Play games and enjoy fun activities
  • Meet other kids who have similar experiences
  • Share the good and tough things about having a sibling with a disability
  • Hear how others handle challenging situations
  • Laugh, talk and participate in exciting group activities
What to Know:
  • This group is for kids who do not have developmental needs themselves
  • This event requires active participation, listening and following directions
  • Participants should be able to work independently with limited support
