This workshop, presented online in collaboration with a behaviour therapist from Sunbeam Community & Developmental Services, will focus on the various principles used in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) to help reduce challenging behaviours. The why, what, and how’s of the following topics: - The 4 functions of behaviour. - Antecedent strategies. - Replacement behaviours. - Consequence strategies. This workshop is part of the Foundational Family Services program at YSSN (OAP) for families/caregivers with children and youth (up to age 18) with a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder and are registered with The Ontario Autism Program (OAP).
