A program for early learners that focuses on fitness, coordination and fun, this 4-week program will help to build the foundation for group participation and confidence to try new things. This program fosters the development of gross motor skills through warm ups, stretching and range of motion drills while we learn basic Karate blocks, strikes and kicks Comfortable clothing and bare feet are required. Ready to Read Group Therapy is a play and learning based group designed for clients in Grades 1 and 2. The group will focus on enhancing participants’ reading readiness skills, teaching early decoding and phonics skills, and addressing the conventions of written language.
