Canada's National Ballet School - Adaptive Dance Program - Toronto

This program is centered on fostering a love for dance and dancers are welcome to engage in the class in a way that feels right to them.

Each class is led by an NBS Community Dance Educator and supported by a live accompanist. We offer 4 streams of programming with ten classes, spanning from primary grades to adult.

Family Creative Movement and Music Ages 3-5: This program stream is a chance for the dancers and their grown-ups to participate in dance classes together.

Stream 1 - Creative Movement 1 Ages 5+ - Adult: This program stream provides 1:1 support throughout the class and moves at a slower pace.

Stream 2 - Creative Movement 2 Ages 5+ - Adult: This program stream provides a 4:1 ratio, and is a moderate-paced class and a good fit for dancers who are both ready and working towards two-step instructions and participating independently in programming.

Stream 3 - Styles include; Ballet and Musical Theatre Ages 10+: This stream is a faster-paced class and a good fit for dancers who are both ready for two-step instructions, participating independently in programming and are ready for choreography
