Who should attend? Youth
Join us this Youth Week and come explore all that the Makerspace in Aaniin Library in Markham has to offer! In honour of Youth Week, this event is targeted for youth ages 12+ with disabilities and developmental needs. The Makerspace is a collaborative do-it-yourself environment where you can explore modeling and printing on the 3D and Cricut machine and be creative with hands-on learning. At this event, participants will receive a short demo about what the makerspace offers including the 3D printer and laser engraver, followed by an opportunity to create a card on the Cricut machine. Kerry's Place - Family Support Group for Caregivers: Caregiver Stress and Anxiety - Online
This family support group uses topic-focused conversations, and provides caregivers the opportunity to share successes, discuss challenges, and gain insight from other parents and caregivers of autistic children and youth.
