Come out and meet some new friends or reconnect with some old ones! Autistic adults (16 yrs +) are invited to join us for an Italian-themed cooking class. This program will allow autistic adults to participate in a hands-on cooking lesson, socially interact with others and build their confidence while learning to cook a meal they can prepare all on their own. We will make homemade pizza (sauce from scratch), Caesar salad and tiramisu. The cooking class will consist of an introduction, cooking and eating the meal we prepared together. This gathering engages autistic adults 16 yrs + who do not require 1:1 support (individual support is not provided; one staff member will be present to sign participants in and stay for the duration of the event). EVENT DETAILS: Date: Wednesday, January 22nd Time: 5:30 p.m. Cost: $5.00/person. Once registered and paid, refunds will not be issued. Registration is required. This class is for autistic adults.
