Who should attend? Parents and Caregivers
Learn how to help your child or teen understand their Autism diagnosis. Answering questions related to an Autism diagnosis can be difficult, life-long work. But it’s also an opportunity for parents and caregivers to help their child or teen better understand themselves. This educational and research-based workshop is open to parents and caregivers of Autistic children 18 years and younger. Participants will learn strategies and tools to help their child understand an Autism diagnosis using a strengths-based approach. This workshop incorporates research from Dr. Peter Vermeulen, author, lecturer and internationally recognized leader in Autism research.
