Learn about Autism through storytelling! This Foundational Family Service teaches children with Autistic siblings about Autism through children’s storybooks. Through storytelling, participants build their empathy skills and learn the value of embracing our differences. In each session, children listen to a storybook reading and participate in a related activity. Parents and caregivers receive a follow-up debrief to discuss the story, its themes, and how to answer any questions that may arise.
