About event:

Who should attend? Parents and Caregivers

This 2½-hour workshop provides parents and caregivers with information and strategies to help safely navigate a child or youth’s online presence and enhance cyber safety. This workshop was developed in collaboration with Halton Regional Police Service.

As a result of participating in this workshop, participants will be able to:

describe the importance of online safety
identify online risks for persons with ASD
define key terms related to online safety
implement teaching strategies to support online safety
