Who should attend? Children|Youth
Sibshops are designed just for siblings (ages 8 to 13) of kids and youth with disabilities or developmental needs. This group is specifically for kids who do not have developmental needs themselves. It’s a chance to have fun, make new friends, and talk about what it’s like to have a sibling with a disability or developmental need. For this Sibshop, please wear your costume! What to Expect: - Play games and enjoy fun activities - Meet oher kids who have similar experiences - Opportunity to share the good and tough things about having a sibling with a disability - Hear how others handle challenging situations - Laugh, talk and participate in exciting group activities What to Know: - This even requires active participation, listening and following directions - Participants should be able to work independently with limited support - The cost for this event is $10 Event Details: Friday, October 25, 2024 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Register for this event here
