About event:

Are you a sibling between the ages of 7 and 11 with a brother or sister who has special needs?

Join Catulpa Community Support Services and The Simcoe County District School Board for a PA Day SibShop. Lunch will be provided. 

Sibshops are designed for siblings of children and youth with disabilities or developmental needs.

These events gives participants the opportunity to connect with peers, have fun, laugh and build new friendships where they can discuss shared experiences and engage in activities in a relaxed social setting.

Event Aims To:

• Play games and enjoy fun activities
• Meet other kids who have similar experiences
• Opportunity to share the good and tough things about having a sibling with a disability
• Hear how others handle challenging situations
• Laugh, talk, and participate in exciting group activities

What to Know: 

• This event requires active participation, listening, and following directions
• Participants should be able to work independently with limited support
• This group is specifically for siblings who do not have developmental needs themselves
