Who should attend? Parents and Caregivers
This workshop, in collaboration with Sunbeam Community & Developmental Services, will teach participants the differences between reinforcement and punishment, as well as what reinforcement is and how this impacts behaviour. Information will be shared on how to establish motivation with your child/youth and use motivation for learning new skills. There will be some discussion on the reasons we engage in certain behaviours (the functions of behaviour); whether it is to escape a task, gain attention, access items etc. Event Details: Thursday, June 20, 2024 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Register for this event here
