Who should attend? Parents and Caregivers
Participants will be taught about Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), related mental health illnesses, and biological, psychological and social factors that may impact or contribute to an individual’s behaviour. At the end of the training, participants should be able to identify different characteristics of ASD, have knowledge of mental health illnesses that are associated with ASD, as well as take away some general prevention and skill building strategies that could be utilized while waiting or accessing different behavioural, clinical and/or social supports.
