Who should attend? Parents and Caregivers
This workshop teaches parents and caregivers strategies and tools to help their children and youth understand their diagnosis, using a strengths-based approach. Explaining and answering questions related to a diagnosis may be a lifelong discussion and difficult to navigate. Autism: Beyond the Diagnosis incorporates the research of Dr. Peter Vermeulen, related to helping persons with ASD understand themselves and their respective diagnosis. Dr. Peter Vermeulen is an author, lecturer and consultant in the field of Autism. Event Details: Tuesday, February 13, 2024 5:30 - 8:00 p.m. Register for this event here. King-Adapted Gymnastics (Pulsars Gymnastics Partnership)
It allows the athletes to move throughout the gym at their own pace. They will be partnered with a 2:1 coach who will work on adaptive skills, but also gym and sensory exploration.

In this workshop, participants will learn about trauma and trauma-informed approaches to care.
