Note: Workshop previously called “Funding Options” This workshop is intended for parents and caregivers of children and youth between the ages of 0-17, who are interested in learning about financial supports available for their child and/or youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), in the province of Ontario. Topics include government funding, tax credits and benefits, and related financial resources. Friday, March 3, 2023 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Register Cost: there is no cost to participate Making Sense of Financial Options in Ontario will be delivered live via Zoom for Professionals and the following is required to participate: • mobile Device, Tablet or Computer • internet connection • speakers and a microphone • webcam Please Note: Registration does not guarantee a space in this webinar. To be eligible, completion of a Kerry’s Place Autism Services intake meeting and additional documentation may be required to attend. Foundational Family Services are available to persons under the age of 18, and their families, registered with the Ontario Autism Program. These services assist families in supporting their child’s learning and development. King City - Adapted Gymnastics (Pulsars Gymnastics Partnership) - York
Adapted Gymnastics is a class for just adaptive athletes who have a broad spectrum of disabilities and severities. They will be partnered with a 2:1 coach.
Kerry's Place (FFS) - Autism: Beyond the Diagnosis - Online
This 2½-hour workshop teaches parents and caregivers strategies and tools to help their children and youth understand their diagnosis, using a strengths-based approach.
