CTN and CanChild: The Foundations of Family Engagement - Online

Who should attend?    Parents and Caregivers|Service Provider


CTN is pleased to invite families to attend a special two-morning virtual session with CanChild, called “The Foundations of Family Engagement”.

This will be a two-morning, virtual workshop that brings together CTN employees, Network partners and families to gain a richer understanding of family engagement principles and ethics including:

  • Why is family engagement important
  • How to engage families
  • Barriers/facilitators and ethics surrounding engagement
  • Tools and resources to support and evaluate engagement activities
The two-part workshop will take place virtually over Zoom on March 1th and 8th, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. These sessions are not a repeat but will build on each other. You must attend the March 1st session to attend the March 8th (if you can only attend one morning you may attend March 1st only).
