Who should attend? Children|Youth
Participants will leave the group with helpful ideas to use when studying or completing homework. This group includes a parent debrief at the end of each session to review the strategies discussed, and how to put these strategies into practice. To be eligible, completion of a Kerry’s Place Autism Services intake meeting and additional documentation may be required to attend.
This 4-session group will help participants become more independent by providing strategies related to time management, organization, motivation, and problem solving skills.
King City - Adapted Gymnastics (Pulsars Gymnastics Partnership) - York
Adapted Gymnastics is a class for just adaptive athletes who have a broad spectrum of disabilities and severities. They will be partnered with a 2:1 coach.
Kerry's Place (FFS) - Autism: Beyond the Diagnosis - Online
This 2½-hour workshop teaches parents and caregivers strategies and tools to help their children and youth understand their diagnosis, using a strengths-based approach.
