Who should attend? Parents and Caregivers
** Please Note: This is a 2 part workshop; therefore, please try to attend both sessions. ** Part 1: Foundation and Communication This workshop will guide caregivers/educators to identify language milestones and barriers to maximize communication opportunities with their children at home and in the community. Saturday, June 11th, 2022 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Register You will learn strategies for establishing communication interest, foundation communication skills, and social interactions such as joint attention, eye contact, play, listening, and more. These skills are the foundation for language development. You can take home ideas and resources on how to encourage communication and connection with your child. Part 2: Expanding and Conversation (June 18th, 2022) This 2 part series workshop is presented in partnership with Aspiration & Discoveries Therapy and Education Centre. ________________________________________________________________________________________ Registrants will receive an email with the Zoom link 1 day prior to the program.
