Who should attend? Children
All About You is an online support group for children, aged 8-12, with a sibling who has a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This group will offer interactive activities to create a fun space focused on them and their interests. This group strives to provide siblings with a safe space to express their feelings, learn about ASD, and meet and connect with other children whom share common experiences. Tuesday, June 7th, 2022 - Tuesday, June 21st, 2022 (3 sessions) 4:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Register Ratio: 9 participants and 2 staff Cost: there is no cost to participate All About You will be delivered live via Zoom for Professionals and the following is required to participate: • Mobile Device, Tablet or Computer • An internet connection • Speakers and a microphone • A webcam Please Note: Registration does not guarantee a space in this webinar. To be eligible completion of a Kerry's Place Autism Services intake meeting and additional documentation may be required to attend Foundational Family Services (FFS) are available to persons under the age of 18, and their families, registered with the Ontario Autism Program. These services assist families in supporting their child’s learning and development. Engaging Minds Learning Group - Sensory Sensitive Haircuts - Collingwood
Sensory Friendly Haircuts once a month on Mondays starting December 6th, 2021. Haircuts are priced at $25 (regardless of age). For individuals who are more hesitant, please, book a 15 min gradual spot which will allow time for the individual to come sit in the room, play with toys and slowly increase tolerance to the sensory elements of the haircut process (water spray, sounds of buzzer if used, sound and feel of scissors).
